OUR STORY

Jam Cafe began in May 2017, evolving from what was previously known as Dukes Deli. The space naturally moved beyond a traditional deli, leading into the new era - Jam. The name Jam continues a rhythm that started years earlier in Tasmania, where our owner grew up and created a collection of cafes including, Cube, Relish and Maple.

After leaving High school, he eventually found himself in the cooking industry, working within a variety of places and exposure to a mixture of cafe and patisserie experiences. In around 1996 he left the cooking industry and worked as a domestic flight attendant, for around 8 years. Eventually, the draw back allowed the first steps into being a business owner with establishing Cube Coffee in Launceston, and overtime Relish and Maple cafe.

In 2015, a move to the Sunshine Coast marked a new chapter, centred on chasing the sun and raising three amazing teenagers.

Today, Jam Cafe is a continuation of that journey, a space built on experience, community and a genuine love for good food and good people.
